Well, a cursory glance at my gallery tells you I'm a photographer. In my opinion, my landscapes and still lifes generally suck, and I should probably stick to portraits.
I am a hopeless Retrophile, as is evident in my taste in photographic accoutrema. I shoot a LOT of film, and will continue until I die, no questions asked.
This is not to say I do not use Digital. I am not a hopeless film snob, as in to say that I do own a DSLR, and I do use it. I may even put photos from it up on here, If I like them enough. But generally, I tend to prefer my film shots. (That and the fact that the ID I made on here kinda forces the majority of the stuff I put up to be 8x10 Large Format LOL)
I use these things called View Cameras a lot. They are big bellows cameras, and my 1945 Speed Graphic 4x5 camera that I got off a forum classifieds and restored can still out res your 30mp $30,000 Medium Format Digital Hasselblad.
Film truly is superior, IF you know how to use it.
